For the Skywalker Saga to truly end, Lucasfilm will need Hayden Christensen to return as Anakin in Star Wars : The Rise of Skywalker. Mark Hamill is confirmed to return, most likely via Luke's reappearance as a Force ghost due to his demise in Star Wars : The Last Jedi.
